Climbing Arthurs Seat Edinburgh

‘View of Firth of Forth Bridge from the top of Arthurs Seat’
Arthurs seat was given it’s name in the 15th, but it is in fact an extinct volcano, it offers one of the best view of Edinburgh. Arthurs seat and Salisbury crag are sited in Holyrood Park.

‘Arthurs seat is an extinct volcano’
It takes about 1-2 hours to climb to the top, depending on how many times you stop to take photos (always a good excuse to stop for a rest). There is a great view toward the Edinburgh castle from on top of the volcano.
